With over a century of history and tradition, Ritsumeikan University has made efforts to innovate various fields of education over the years, and develop student activities with a coherent enterprising spirit, in order to become a leading private university that consistently produces high-level results.

 The Ritsumeikan Trust is currently composed of Ritsumeikan University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), four affiliate senior high schools and high schools, and one elementary school. The alumni members are now count over 370,000 including the year 2021 graduates.

 Many members of the alumni association, who are active domestically as well as globally in various fields, organize associate groups on 52prefectural and 34overseas, 600regional, vocational, faculty, and club basis. The Ritsumeikan University Alumni Association, which consists of Ritsumeikan University graduates, helps its members to enrich and encourage each other through trans-generational interchange and friendship. Also, we are going to celebrate our 100th Anniversary on 2019. To welcome this memorial moment and a challenge for the next 100years, we have started “GIFT to students fund” to create a new permanent circulating support culture. This brand-new culture is to proof that all of Ritsumeikan University Alumni are united to support next generation by donation, and we are aiming to be the top of universities in Japan by the donated numbers from alumni.

 In addition, junior members can also call on the association for support, thus encouraging greater development of Ritsumeikan University. The key to the successive development of a university is that graduates be active. It is my hope that each member can share the pride of being a Ritsumeikan graduate, thus I expect that each member will make efficient use of alumni network.

 These services and achievements of the members will attribute to a higher reputation for Ritsumeikan University. Therefore the University and its members are considered one community where you can build a closer liaison and develop alongside one another. As members of Ritsumeikan University Alumni Association, we can serve as powerful supporters for Ritsumeikan.
