Ritsumeikan University from which I graduated has over a century history and tradition, has always introduced a new breath of air in various fields of education, studies and student activities with a coherent enterprising spirit to progress as the leading private university successfully obtaining a steady and brilliant results.
Also Ritsumeikan Institution is currently built up with Ritsumeikan University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), four high schools and one elementary school.
Alumni members now count over 300,000 including the year 2010 graduates and 70,000 more from APU and attached schools, which totals approximately 370,000 members.
Many members of the alumni association, who are active domestically as well as globally in various fields of the society, organize associate groups on the prefecture, regional, vocational, faculty, and club basis.
Ritsumeikan University Alumni Association consists of Ritsumeikan University graduates and it helps the members enrich and encourage each other through trans-generational interchange and friendship as well as it supports the juniors, which leads to a greater development of Ritsumeikan University.The key to a ‘Successive development of a university’ is that ‘Graduates be active’. Hopefully every member can share the pride of being a Ritumeikan graduate, thus I truly expect every member to make efficient use of alumni network.
These services and achievement of the members will attribute to a higher reputation for Ritsumeikan University, therefore the University and members are considered one community where you can build a closer liaison and multiple development.
